Supplies flown into Queensland's flooded Rockhampton

Supplies flown into Queensland's flooded Rockhamptonhttp://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-12105078

This article is about the major flooding in Rockhamptom, Australia. All but one acces route to Rockhampton have been completely flooded. More then 20 other towns in Queensland have been cut off by the floods, with a total area that is bigger than Germany or France. 3 people have lost their lives to this natural disaster, but many more are expected. Many people are stocking up on fuel or food. The grocery stores are going to be empty very soon. The heavy rains and floods have also had a negative effect on 2 of Australia's principle export products, wheat and coal. The ports are acting on reduced capability and most of the crops have been ruined. The prime minister has made a statement that low interest loans etc will be given to small companys to survive the setbacks of this disaster.

This is ofcourse a horrible thing to read. I don't know what i've been doing the last couple of days, but this is the first time i've read or heard about this disaster. I really feel for those people over the there. The article even said that snakes were being transported with the floods and injuring people aswell. How sick is that...?
I hope that more help will be there soon for all of those people.
